First Boating trip....

On Sunday afternoon it was great weather and hot so we decided to go take the boat out for the first time this year. Shayne and I got it running and ready first thing in the morning and then went up to Mink Creek to pick up Kalee, Chett and Chalis. Then we headed to Glendale Reservoir. Once we got there and lauched the boat as you can see below Kalee took over. Just like Mario Andretti but only in a boat.



She was a natural, took over the controls and away we went.



This is the rear view of the boat driver. Chalis was in the front looking at his mom in amazement, and also hanging on for dear life...hahahaha



Once Kalee stopped the boat every body evacuated, even Chalis jumped in off the back of the boat with a splash.

Once they all decided it might be safe again they started to climb back in the boat again, here Chalis is offering Shayne a helping hand to get back in the boat.

Shayne and Chett gliding across the water in the tube, hanging on so they don't fall off....I don't remember who is driving the boat here.. probably Kalee the way they where hanging on.. LOL

Kalee has that look on her face again, of what in the world is going to happen next!

Well now we know, her and Chett are being drug all over the lake, I was trying to give them a good ride.. I promised Kalee that I wouldn't dump her out on the first trip... I didn't mean the first boating trip just the first time around the lake...then anything goes..hahahaha

Hanging on tight!!!!

Just giving them a break until the next time around the lake...They aint seen nothing yet :-)

Not sure what is going on with this look, rope in one hand, diet coke in the other... I think the sun is in her eyes, either that or she is getting ready to let me have it....

Just a leisurely tow in the lake....

And away we go, Chalis kept waving us sideways, not knowing if he was getting scared or what I stopped the boat and Kalee asked if he was through. He informed her no he just wanted to jump the wake from side to side ..... so me being the nice individual that I am...I obliged them...

Here Chalis is just floating in the tube behind the boat as we are resting and waiting to go again.

Now it is Kalee and Chetts turn again, as you know it is not the first time around for these two now so anything goes.....

And here we go!!

Whats this they are signaling me. I think Kalee is telling me how special I am to her and that I am number one in her book. I have a picture of her giving me this same sign one day while she was riding her lawn mower mowing lawn.. All I can say is she must really like me ..... hahahha

We had a great time and no one was injured on this trip so that was great, once we left the lake we went back to Kalees house for dinner. Kalee made some potatoes in the oven and veggies, and I cooked some dutch over chicken. Kalee invited Dick over to join us in the feast, it was fun visiting with him. We had a very enjoyable day and hopefully everyone had fun, I know I did.
