Dutch Oven Cookout

Mothers Day Cookout

This whole cookout thing was decided by Shayne and Megan while I was in Wendover. While I was there I kept getting a text message from Shayne saying that him and Megan decided that I needed to cook dutch oven Chicken and Potatoes for Mothers Day, which was the next day. I ignored the texts for quite a while since it was interupting my train of thought at the craps table. Then I told Shayne that I probably wouldn't. The response back was a text saying "How come I don't love me anymore" from Megan. My response back was " I do love you from the bottom of my heart, but, not your stomach". Then all of a sudden my phone rang and it was Megan. She was in the begging mode. So I finally told her that we would have to see if I have all that I need to do it when I get home. This was basically to get over this conversation so I could go back to the business at hand, CRAPS!!!!

Well as you can see below Megan got her way once again. She is such a spoiled little shit!!! hahaha.

While I was preparing to cook Trey was playing in the fountain, throwing things in so he could get them back out. He loves playing in that fountain.

In this picture he just threw a stick over the little fence and yes it did go right in the top barrel with a splash.

Then it was jump time on the tramp, Colby and Shayne were jumping first and Trey obviously thought it looked fun because he ended up joining them to jump.

Little Jack was infactuated with Richards shoe here. He is such a chunk, one roll after another, cute little shit. Megan needs to feed him a bit more, he is starving right to death. :-)

Jack is really interested in what is going on in front of him, I can't remember what it was but obviously the way he is staring it was very interesting and important.

Eating time, here Trey came to join Shayne and Colby with his food for a minute or two.

My Dad and Mom are enjoying the food and company of there Kid (me) and Grand Kids here. I am so glad that they decided to come join the festivities.

Richard and Megan with there boys eating grandpa's famous dutch oven chicken and potatoes. Not really famous but it sounded good anyway. They are such a cute little family. I am glad that I have them. I hope you are satisfied peg, because once again you got your own way..... lol.

Thanks Megan for talking me into this it was fun and I am glad that my dad and mom was able to come join us. We had a fun time and created memories. Next time don't do it while I am busy doing something....I am always busy doing something... hahahaha

As Shayne always says: This is why we are going to the Family Reunion!

Wendover and Trace Adkins

Wendover or Bust!!

Last weekend May 8th and 9th I made a trip to Wendover. Its been many moons since I have been out there and I was really excited to go. I got Trace Adkins tickets to his concert at the Peppermill Concert Hall and I took Kalee. It was a great concert, all the woman there where drooling from both corners of there mouths when old Trace baby came out on stage. The comment I kept hearing all around us was "Look how tight his pants are". Even Kalee made that comment. Whats with that....sicko's

This is a picture that they had up on the screen before the concert started.

Here Trace is singing BaDonkaDonk. The whole crowd through out the concert kept asking him to sing this song. I took some Video clips but it was so noisy that they really didn't turn out that good. The concert was great, it was a small enough area that there really wasn't a bad seat in the house and Trace made it more personal, telling stories and intermingling with the audience between songs. He walked up and down the aisles letting of course the woman drool that much more, and even the guy in front of us was really into him... I swear he took 50 million pictures and ran up to touch his hand. Thats just not right. Kalee and I really enjoyed it!!!

Here I finally was able to pull Kalee away from the Slots long enough to at least get her a drink, she was starting to dehydrate from lack of fluids. I really got my eyes opened to the dark side of her and her gambling fever. Hahaha....

This is just a picture of me while I was watching Kalee finish her Diet Cherry Coke.

Back to the Slots she goes....I guess I will see her in another hour or so when she either gets hungry or thirsty again. I think I have created a monster and I don't know how I am going to tame it. Oh well time will tell...

I snuck up behind her here and was able to get her attention for just a split second, long enough to snap this quick picture.

Once again here she is pulling the One Armed Bandit.... I think I will have to sign her up for gamblers anonymous once I can get her out of here and back home.

The trip was definately a fun experience, And I do need to confess or Kalee will kill me. It was really her that had to keep pulling me away from the tables because she was Hungry or Thirsty. I for some reason or another kept loosing track of time until I had this little voice sneek up behind me once in a while and ask the question. "Are you hungry yet, or should I just go eat by myself?" Sorry for that Kal, I was on a roll!! hahahaha.... Thats what they all say.

We had a blast and it was fun. Thanks to Kalee for putting up with me....
